End of Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) Core:
- Taught synchronously on Zoom on 4 Wednesday evenings (Sept. 4, 11, 18, 25 | 6:00- 8:30 PM PST)
- 10 CE credits will be awarded for participating in all 4 weekly sessions [assuming each session is about 2.5 hours long; some modules contain more content than others]
- Includes 8 separate modules:

- Communication

Adjunct Faculty & Palliative Care Specialist
Dan Weiss, DNP, RN, CHPN has been teaching the ELNEC curricula to nurses and nursing students since 2015. He was a Clinical Nurse for 24 years at Sharp Hospice & Palliative Care and taught ELNEC for 7 years at Cal. State, San Marcos, both in San Diego County. Currently, Dan works as Adjunct Nursing Faculty & Palliative Care (PC) Coordinator at Chaminade University of Honolulu, where he teaches the ELNEC Undergraduate/New Graduate online modules in 3 Medical-Surgical nursing courses. At Chaminade, Dr. Weiss has developed the first undergraduate PC nursing minor in the US, including five semester-length courses that he teaches and coordinates
